Sanoba Witch - Yuzu's Finest

Few days back, I completed the Ayachi Nene route in "Sabbath of the witch". Considering it was a Yuzusoft VN, I was not expecting the emotional ending. Fortunately, as soon as I landed back to the title I was greeted with "Restart" option. Which implies a true route is inbound.

Of course I went back and decided to conclude remaining routes first. Senpai's route is once again filled with the whimsical and playful undertones. But similar to other Yuzusoft VN, Riddle Joker, I am mostly fixated on the main heroin. Suspense is unfolding on Senpai route though.

Did not expect such a well crafted scenario for Toukou's route in Sabbath of the witch. Kudos to the team for a well paced, charming and emotionally charged route for Senpai.

This is already shaping up to be a better written novel than Riddle Joker (I loved the main route of that game, not the sides)

The narrative was light-hearted, amusing and capped with expertly constructed drama which was short and not overbearing.

True to a Yuzusoft game, I don't need an emotional landslide when I play their VNs and I am glad Yuzu & other studios create these light hearted slice of lives.

cant wait to finish all routes before getting back to NENE!!

Quite a few days have passed since I started Inaba Meguru's route and I am astonished. I had my expectations in check but these side routes are such memorable experiences.

Meguru's character archetype of a cheerful underclassmen is sharply contrasted with the portrayal of her inner turmoils. A fitting conclusion to her personal struggles wit which lead to an unexpected development.

The main plot device of witch & magic was divulged to non expecting cast members. Leading to a disparate events which makes it more fascinating & different from other chapters.

This marks the first time I am engrossed in all routes of a slice of life, rom-com visual novel.

Drifting away from all good land, the despair filled world of "The hundred line - Last defense Academy" is well all gloomy & melancholy.

Completed few more endings and they are as expected dark and filled with sorrow.

Each choice is hard but I love how the game adds twists to routes for very unique scenarios, one you would not expect. But that makes each route nail biting vying for your attention and making you crave for the ending.

After 2 weeks of gap, that is a wrap on Inaba Megeru's Route in Sabbat of the witch.

The thing I noticed is they never expand on the initial plot device through side routes. So the "Restart" is looking to be the true route.

Anyway the remaining route is not the one I am looking forward to but need to knock it out before the true path.
